Larry Ullman: Books, Articles, Teaching, Programming, Database Design & Web Development
You can contact Larry Ullman directly at ![]()
Please note that if you are a reader contacting Larry regarding an existing book, you'll get a much faster response by using the book's supporting forum. You can also find each book's Web site linked at the left (please pay attention to the full title and edition, so that you use the correct link). Larry does reply to all reader emails, normally within 7-10 business days, assuming that he is not traveling. Also note that he probably will not be able to give you a good, satisfactory answer unless you provide all of the relevant details. This includes:
- what book you are using (name and edition)
- what script(s) you are referring to
- your operating system, development tools, etc.
- the versions of the relevant software
- a thorough description of the problem, including any error messages
- etc. etc.

Newsletter #15 Released
Newsletter #15 went out in early August but I've been remiss in posting this update about it. It's relatively short, with most of the discussion on the business side of creating your own business. You can read it online at http://dmcinsights.com/newsletter.php. The next newsletter should go out in a few days.

Temporary Site Outage
After performing some routine maintenance, the DMC Insights, Inc. server will need to be rebooted on Friday, July 11, 2008, between 4:00am and 7:00am EST. The Web site should be unavailable for no more than 15 minutes. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Newsletter #14 Released
I just sent out the latest version of the newsletter. It covers a bunch of different things, with some early thoughts on the Ruby programming language. You can read it online at www.DMCInsights.com/newsletter.php.
