The book was written by Larry Ullman and published by Peachpit Press in December 2007. If you are using the first edition of the book, you should go to that Web site If you are using the second edition of the book, you should go to that Web site.

Adobe AIR with Ajax: Visual QuickPro Guide Update

It provides a book-length tutorial on adding Ajax functionality to a site using PHP, MySQL, XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript. There's lots of usable-code that's cross-browser compliant!
