About PHP Programming for the World Wide Web: Visual QuickStart Guide (2nd Edition)
Welcome to the companion Web site for the Second Edition of the book PHP for the World Wide Web: Visual QuickStart Guide, written by Larry Ullman and published by Peachpit Press. The book was first published in April 2001 and the second edition came out in February 2004. If you are using the first edition of the book, you should go to that Web site.
This site is intended to augment the information presented in the book, as well as to correct any errors that may be present. As with all Web sites, the content here will be constantly changing so please continue to check back time and again for more useful information.

Adobe AIR: VQS Chapter Available Online
Peachpit Press, has posted part of Chapter 2, "Creating an Application," from the book "Adobe AIR (Adobe Integrated Runtime) with Ajax: Visual QuickStart Guide" on their Web site.
