The book was first published in April 2001 and the second edition came out in February 2004. If you are using the first edition of the book, you should go to that Web site.

Adobe AIR: VQS Chapter Available Online

Peachpit Press, has posted part of Chapter 2, "Creating an Application," from the book "Adobe AIR (Adobe Integrated Runtime) with Ajax: Visual QuickStart Guide" on their Web site.
